I am a big Sandi Patty fan, so when she I saw she wrote a book on stepfamily life, this stepmother got very excited Unfortunately, it didn t end up being that helpful for me personally For one thing, it isn t a self help book per se Sandi is too classy to air too many details of her stepfamily struggles publicly, but her main message is that your faith can get you through the trying times For me, it just underscored that everyone s blended family experience is unique, but we are never as alo I am a big Sandi Patty fan, so when she I saw she wrote a book on stepfamily life, this stepmother got very excited Unfortunately, it didn t end up being that helpful for me personally For one thing, it isn t a self help book per se Sandi is too classy to air too many details of her stepfamily struggles publicly, but her main message is that your faith can get you through the trying times For me, it just underscored that everyone s blended family experience is unique, but we are never as alone as we may sometimes feel we are in our journey

Great book about the struggles that happen following divorce and when blending families together I have not personally gone through this but have shared this book with others in my life who have and are going through this time in their lives Its powerful to know that the struggles are universal and gives helpful things that have been learned through the years of blending.
