A note to readers This is NOT a Young Adult novel At least to me it isn't The protagonist might start out the book as eighteen but by chapter three five years have gone by and she as well as the other characters get themselves into many adult situations There is profanity graphic death and violence and some adult content Alcohol abuse is also presentNow onto my reviewI wrote it so I sort of have to like it It took me a long time to actually sit down and read it all the way through For the most part when I edited or wrote I would read by a series of pages or chapters Reading it in one day is almost impossible Its a bit too long My honest opinion of my own work First there are errors too many to be sure of an exact number I stumbled over them but kept reading anyways It's self published Sometimes I felt like Lo droned on and on something I will definitly fix in the coming books What I liked A real and damaged character The reason I wrote her this way was because I felt like female protagonists either fell into one category or another first weak second emasculating Lo is just short of emasculating only because of her own self doubt and loathing She really and truly believes she is unworthy I find that sort of intriguingEven now I'm still not sure about the view spoiler prediction It was one of very few details I wasn't completely sold on I'm still not but I will say this the next couple of books about Lo will reveal I can't elaborate than that because the books are still being writtenAnd finally would I read it again Yes and probably pretty often I love this world hide spoiler
Good portrayal of a damged soul in its leading ladyThere were times that the protagonist seemed to drone on a bit The plot kept from being dull please but less introspection would have made it fast paced
I really love this book It is a mix of drama amd romance with a dash of horror and the best of all it is unpredictable
It's not an awful story and the protagonist is a lot of fun to read but it really really really needs better editing
