Mack Bolan's been fighting all enemies to the American way since the early 70's if memory serves me As a sporadic reader of his pulp tales I've seen him fight the Mafia the KGB ocean pirates and international terrorists Hell I once read about his kayaking vacation in Iceland where he stumbled a secret Russkie sub base And I remember another book where Mack was having a relationship with a woman yet his armaments were even lovingly described hair color huh? caliber 50 calThis is an interesting addition to the canon I've always been fascinated by the little ways the ghost writers make tiny additions to the tale to give a faint personal voice to the tale This writer seems to enjoy uentin Tarantino esue time twist to the usual linear plot lineThere is also a hint of espionage and the paranoia that elements of the government might be working at cross purposesAn entertaining read if you are in the mood for a uick light modern pulp
