    I use a lot of different social media sites regularly and would consider myself to be particularly au fait with using them However, this book has taught me a lot I sat down with the idea of flicking through it and getting a general idea of what it was all about I then found several hours later that I had read it cover to cover There is so much advice and so many tips in this book I am finding it difficult to know where to review it It starts with a general overview of social media and socia I use a lot of different social media sites regularly and would consider myself to be particularly au fait with using them However, this book has taught me a lot I sat down with the idea of flicking through it and getting a general idea of what it was all about I then found several hours later that I had read it cover to cover There is so much advice and so many tips in this book I am finding it difficult to know where to review it It starts with a general overview of social media and social media marketing It then goes on to an in depth exploration of four of these sites mainly1 Facebook2 Twitter3 LinkedIn4 YouTubeIt takes you through the basics of these and then proceeds toin depth use of the sites and how they can be used effectively in business marketing There are a number of case studies to illustrate the points made The authors also point you towards businesses which have used these sites in innovative ways The book also discusses a number of other social networking sites albeit briefly These are Google , Tumblr, MySpace, Twitter, Foursquare and Flickr All in all this has to be one of the best social media books I have ever read, if not the best If you buy only one book on Social Media for Business then this should be the one

    I m keen to recommend this book to any of my clients who want for themselves or team members a comprehensive introduction to the world of social media.All of the major channels are reviewed, from basic operation to use in B2B and B2C it presents the information clearly and makes good suggestions on action points.By the end of the book you will realise that social media marketing is a BIG JOB and best either delegated to a committed team member and or an external social media consultancy as I m keen to recommend this book to any of my clients who want for themselves or team members a comprehensive introduction to the world of social media.All of the major channels are reviewed, from basic operation to use in B2B and B2C it presents the information clearly and makes good suggestions on action points.By the end of the book you will realise that social media marketing is a BIG JOB and best either delegated to a committed team member and or an external social media consultancy as we do.My own take aways were to take Linkedinseriously, take a good look at Pinterest and figure out how I can get 9 days in every week
