    BeyondThePond by Jennie Samuel This book took me by surprise I gave this book a 5 Star rating, it is a delightful read full of adventure, fantasy, and most of all gives reference to God and the Bible I enjoyed this book and know you will when you read it I look forward to readingof Jennie Samuel

    Wonderful story that is laced with themes of teamwork, perseverance and Christianity throughout Plus, it was a quick and fun read on top of that

    This is a well written story written in sections Its content is geared toward theolder elementary age or young teenagers It is slightly confusing in the first partof the book as to what this story was really going to be about I felt I was readinga story for two different age groups one group lacking in illustrations There werea few illustrations that would have appeased the older elementary age.After about a third way through the story really takes a turn Still, it needed a few illu This is a well written story written in sections Its content is geared toward theolder elementary age or young teenagers It is slightly confusing in the first partof the book as to what this story was really going to be about I felt I was readinga story for two different age groups one group lacking in illustrations There werea few illustrations that would have appeased the older elementary age.After about a third way through the story really takes a turn Still, it needed a few illustrations this could be better if revised but it was a great fantasy tale and thecharacter interaction very good.Disclosure This was generously donated for my review but it is my honest review

    Linda and her son Brady move into her great grandmother s old house It needs some fixing up and Brady isn t happy about living there But he becomes excited when he sees the pond in the backyard and asks his mom if they can fix it Soon the pond is filled with fish and watched over by a beautiful Cedar tree Brady doesn t realize it, but the tree and the pond are special.The story was interesting and it takes you through a few generations of the Price family, starting with Linda s great grandmo Linda and her son Brady move into her great grandmother s old house It needs some fixing up and Brady isn t happy about living there But he becomes excited when he sees the pond in the backyard and asks his mom if they can fix it Soon the pond is filled with fish and watched over by a beautiful Cedar tree Brady doesn t realize it, but the tree and the pond are special.The story was interesting and it takes you through a few generations of the Price family, starting with Linda s great grandmother, Cathryn I think there are some really good characters in the book I don t want to spoil anything, but I think the story is unique and the author created likable characters that make you care about them It was enjoyable read I liked it

    I just finished a delightful book by Jennie Samuel, Beyond the Pond It is a Christian based novel for Young Readers, fiction, fun, fantasy.The author does a wonderful job of telling a story that covers the life and struggle of a magical pond and it inhabitants The story is told from the point of view of human care takers and the animals of the pond, friends and enemies There are surprises that will make you laugh, smile and yes even cry You will come to care about the characters I m only so I just finished a delightful book by Jennie Samuel, Beyond the Pond It is a Christian based novel for Young Readers, fiction, fun, fantasy.The author does a wonderful job of telling a story that covers the life and struggle of a magical pond and it inhabitants The story is told from the point of view of human care takers and the animals of the pond, friends and enemies There are surprises that will make you laugh, smile and yes even cry You will come to care about the characters I m only sorry I do not have a young friend with which to share the story.I m looking forward to the next book, Beyond Murdoch s Landing.Jeanne Jordan, Plano, Texas

    If I could give the book 10 stars I would This is a book that is as good as Finding Nemo , Charlot s Web and the Land Before Time movies It would make a great movie.I think this book is great for all ages as it has something for everyone Kids will like the adventure and adults will feel like a kid again reading their favorite stories This is one you ll want to read to your children and grandchildren.I look forward to the next book by Jennie Samuel.

    I really enjoyed reading this book When I first read about this book, I was thinking that it would be a perfect book for my children to read but I have to say that I enjoyed it personally waythan I thought I would This story would be a great read for people of all ages I know that my daughter will enjoy reading this book as much as I did This was a fun, interesting, quick read.
