I am a big fan of this author His stories feature great character back stories and a LOT of technical detail which is a hallmark of many of my favorite authors In this, the second book of the America One series, Ryan Richmond s company gets his ship into space and starts mining an asteroid. The book is very timely on two fronts NASA has made news recently with their discussion about pulling an asteroid into orbit around the moon just as this book comes out Government agencies in the book viol I am a big fan of this author His stories feature great character back stories and a LOT of technical detail which is a hallmark of many of my favorite authors In this, the second book of the America One series, Ryan Richmond s company gets his ship into space and starts mining an asteroid. The book is very timely on two fronts NASA has made news recently with their discussion about pulling an asteroid into orbit around the moon just as this book comes out Government agencies in the book violate civil liberties in this book in ways very similar to our current discussion on gun control and executive powers. If you do not like a book rich in detail you can skip the detailed accounts of space travel to focus on the main story but in my opinion you lose out on a lot of interesting information. If you are looking for a quick weekend read or an action packed adventure that is adrenaline from beginning to end you would be better off looking into novels of that genre because that is not this There are some very good action scenes though and I particularly enjoyed the main character taking jabs at the rapacious government officials in this book

This series has really surprised me When I started the first book, only 0.99 atfor the Kindle version, I didn t expect to get a book that I couldn t put down The first book finished with a major cliffhanger so I bought this book immediately and couldn t put this down either Once again, the author developed some great charactersones that you liked and rooted for, as well as the villains This series has already become one of my favorites and I can t wait for the next book coming ou This series has really surprised me When I started the first book, only 0.99 atfor the Kindle version, I didn t expect to get a book that I couldn t put down The first book finished with a major cliffhanger so I bought this book immediately and couldn t put this down either Once again, the author developed some great charactersones that you liked and rooted for, as well as the villains This series has already become one of my favorites and I can t wait for the next book coming out in April 2013

This is the 2nd book of the series Some of the conversations come across a little corny the relationships appear silly at times Yet, I m enjoying the storyline No one will confuse this with a classic but as far as getting into space, this seems possible I m not a science nerd some of the science here may be way off Oh well, I m not looking for perfection Just got the 3rd book I will continue with the series This is the 2nd book of the series Some of the conversations come across a little corny the relationships appear silly at times Yet, I m enjoying the storyline No one will confuse this with a classic but as far as getting into space, this seems possible I m not a science nerd some of the science here may be way off Oh well, I m not looking for perfection Just got the 3rd book I will continue with the series

Interesting.I enjoyed it, but at times, it seemes a bit too far out Specifically, the fact of how fat technologically advanced the group is compared to the rest of the world It lost a lot of believability from the first book

an even better continuation of the saga it s portrayal of corruption in the U.S government is so dead on of the recent Bush administration , I was surprised he even bothered to change the characters name It makes my blood boil almost as much as our real corrupt ex president did oops I think I just ended up on the watchdog lists of the F.B.I., N.S.A., and homeland security Oh well , such is the price of political criticism A muchthrilling read than book one , it grabs hold of you an even better continuation of the saga it s portrayal of corruption in the U.S government is so dead on of the recent Bush administration , I was surprised he even bothered to change the characters name It makes my blood boil almost as much as our real corrupt ex president did oops I think I just ended up on the watchdog lists of the F.B.I., N.S.A., and homeland security Oh well , such is the price of political criticism A muchthrilling read than book one , it grabs hold of you and doesn t let go , building tension at every turn of the page It left me thirsting for book 3 I am hooked and must now commit to the entire series My only request is that I wish T.J Wade would publish a book of illustrations of the ship, shuttles and technologies portrayed in the books , it would really flesh out the series
