    I received this book from Goodreads Giveways and I just wanted to share some of my thoughtsFor me the book arrived at an appropriate time in my life I just had my second child and have some weight to lose to look and feel my best I like the way that the book is set up into the phases and provides a great deal of encouragement to follow the plan and change your lifestyle to become healthier and maintain a body weight that makes you happy and healthyI like that there were a variety of recipes although I was not a fan of the recipes being after each phase I just think if they were all in one place ie the end and were labelled with when you were recommended to use them that it would be easier to followI must say that there are some things about this plan that I just don't think are realistic to my own life For instance drinking sobacha multiple times a daynot really my cup of tea I think I'll stick with water Also the 25th hour exerciseswell I wish I had 25 hours in a day as a new mom but it seems like I would really need to find time The detox is also uite extreme as it is supposed to be but as a breastfeeding mom I just don't think I can take all of those things out of my dietSo overall an interesting read gives me lots of ideas and food for thought and an idea of what I can do once I am really ready and dedicated to losing those extra pounds Thanks again Goodreads for this great resource

    It is written for upper middle class women who have tons of time and money There are moments of common sense but on the whole this book is full of pseudo science and fads It also emphasizes unhealthy habits

    I received this book through a Goodreads GiveawayI enjoyed reading this it was extremely organized and easy to understand how the diet works and how it's set up It goes through each phase and specifies the reasoning for eating the different foods and gives whole meal plans with full recipes for each phaseIn general the recipes seem realistic for people like me that don't have much experience cooking; I did make a couple of them from the first phase and they turned out alright However a few of the recipes left much to be desired but that's understandable for this time of dietThe tea that you are suppose to drink for every meal however I could not do that It's definitely an acuired taste I'm sure there could be success without it but the book does put uite a bit of emphasis on that drinkOverall a realistic and doable diet plan for anyone to have success with and a well written book to help with that success

    You should be lighter feel energetic and empowered with new knowledge in all aspects of your life fitness nutrition stress management motivation and 345I would like to thank Penguin Random House Canada for providing me with an advance copy of this bookI really enjoyed this diet book as it was easy to read and understand I felt like the diet's model was very easy understood and it wasn't filled with long medical terms The recipes were very well laid out throughout the book and they were very user friendly to follow I also really like the aspect of the real life support; as throughout the book the author kept on giving resources to contact her and tell her your success story This was a very fast read; as it took me less than a day to readI would recommend it to any dieter

    I love the way this book has broken Valerie's plan down into 4 phases These phases make perfect sense for a long term solution and they also make the process easy to follow and plan The book even includes tips to help the reader through some common diet struggles such as plateaus etc The changes are manageable and not drastic this is meant to be a long term solution to weight loss rather than any type of fad diet that never helps a person keep the weight off The suggestions are very realistic I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review All opinions are my own

    Great and easy book to read I just loved the France recipes in the book can't wait to try them LeBoot Camp Diet follows a simple method of losing weight and learn to incorporate easy to follow exercises and recipes Above all this book teaches us to take is easy and slow when it is time to lose weight Great read and looking forward to try the recipes from the book especially Pea Clafoutis and celery with Rouefort cheese
