Set to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb, the story discusses a little girl who is all about the accessories, boas, and the strapped shoes She helps her classmates find their inner beauty, only to discover a major hurdle Once she is able to overcome this, all is solved and happiness ensues Neo liked the sing song nature, but did not get why people have to be so weird about fashion and flashy glasses.

My granddaughter LOVES this book I read it multiple times a day.She reads it to herself, memorized the words, multiple times a day.For a time I had to crochet her a purse big enough to fit her favorite book in it.It s taped up and a bit battered but well loved. My granddaughter loves to both dress up fancy and play outside and get filthy. So this is perfect for her And all little kids who are a bit fancy but also like to get dirty. It s all about balance I adore the illustrations and see the i My granddaughter LOVES this book I read it multiple times a day.She reads it to herself, memorized the words, multiple times a day.For a time I had to crochet her a purse big enough to fit her favorite book in it.It s taped up and a bit battered but well loved. My granddaughter loves to both dress up fancy and play outside and get filthy. So this is perfect for her And all little kids who are a bit fancy but also like to get dirty. It s all about balance I adore the illustrations and see the illustrator is also an author.I plan to check out Vanessa s books for sure

A familiar story, but without the lamb and all of the glam The kids enjoyed the story, and all the rhythm and the rhymes I especially loved how awesome Mary is She s a strong, smart young lady with a hell of a lot of fashion sense I WISH I HAD THIS BOOK WHEN I WAS A KID There were NO books that featured really glamorous little black girls, and I would have loved seeing that as a child I was often the only black kid in class, and I was made fun of a lot in elementary school That is one o A familiar story, but without the lamb and all of the glam The kids enjoyed the story, and all the rhythm and the rhymes I especially loved how awesome Mary is She s a strong, smart young lady with a hell of a lot of fashion sense I WISH I HAD THIS BOOK WHEN I WAS A KID There were NO books that featured really glamorous little black girls, and I would have loved seeing that as a child I was often the only black kid in class, and I was made fun of a lot in elementary school That is one of the many reasons that representation is so important
