Hart University series I had loved the first book Rikki and i liked this one very much So One thing that i loved in this series is that the things between the heroes don t move with lightning speed They are taking a while to develop and they are feelingnaturalAlso, i love that they aren t rushing things in every aspect and they are trying to explore themselves and to discover who they really areWe have already met both Claire and Will from the previous book and they were both in relationship with their highschool sweetheart Will had returned back to the campus for his sopho yearrelieved than ever since he broken up with his girlfriend back home and that s why because since the last year his mind was only to Claire and it was feeling like a mental cheating by his side to his girlfriendBut even though that he would like to act upon his feelings, Claire is not availableClaire is four years with Trent, but that s not stopping her heart racing wildly everytime that she is near to Will But she will never do something like that to Trent He is very important for her but still she is getting into temptation with WillEverything are changing when she and her band are performing to Will s party and Trent is breaking up with herClaire in just one moment is single and she feels lostYep, she could sleep with Will to forget, but that s not seems rightWas that what I wanted Some guy to take care of meSo, in a crazy moment, she and Tamsin who got abandoned by her own boyfriend are taking an oath For the next semester, they will forget about men, flirting, relationships and sex and they will focus on themselves, to their classes and to their creativity They will have to learn how to live alone and how to depend only to themselves and to noone else especially a guy And they ve been asking from their friends to help them to resist to the various temptations around themTamsin nodded Okay, I m in This semester, sex and romance aren t on the menu We ll focus on classes Family Friends Music for me and theater for youWill is not very happy by Claire s decision on celibacy, but he can totally understand her reasons why she is doing it and he is determined to help her and stay beside her as a friend, but that it doesn t mean that he stops wanting her and to wants her like crazyClaire was an awesome person, and she deserved a chance to realize it Maybe if she spent some time focusing on herself, she d see what I saw.Her beauty Her strength Her talent. And if being her friend would help her see all that, then that s what I d be.Her friendAs for Claire, she is finding that she is enjoying the way the things are with this celibacy oath, but she and Will are coming very close to each other and most of the times is so difficult to her to resist to this temptation So what will happen with those two There is a chance for them It occurred to me that if I stayed in his room for too much longer, there was a really good chance I d forget my pledge in a hot second and kiss him But that would be reckless and impulsive and NOT something a good friend does How could I be sure I was acting from real feelings for Will, and not out of my fear of being alone or my desire to be part of a couple again Claire I didn t want to be Claire s rebound I didn t want to be the next guy she was with.I wanted to be the last guy she was with Will Well, i liked very much both Claire and WillClaire was a spitfire She was sweet and caring and such a lovely person I think that her decision was right in a way Everybody needs some time alone especially when all of your life was spinning around one single person and it s not right to rush into another relationship for the wrong reasonsAnd Claire s one of her biggest fears was that she was afraid to be alone, so she needed to do it for herself She needed to figure out what she really wanted from her lifeAnd that s decision made only good to her She focused to her music and that was amazingBut even with the c libacy, she couldn t stay away from Will They reached a point that they became the best buddies but the temptation was always there.I have to say that i loved her when she was jealous She could do the craziest thingsI d thought that being single this semester would make everything easier Simpler And in some ways, it had But why did my emotions seemcomplicated than everWill knew what he wanted from his life Football and ClaireUnfortunately, he couldn t have Claire, but on football, he was in his better phaseHe was also a kind and caring person and i liked the way that he was interested on Claire. He was putting his own needs behind for supporting her and he was staying at the shadows waiting for the right time to come Yep, near to the end had some difficulties which changed him, but i think that anybody on his place would react the sameI really, really hoped that Claire would decide to be with me some dayShe was it for me The only girl, foreverAs for the rest of the gang I liked them all They were such a strong unit and they were caring very much for each other and they proved it when Will was in the bottom and I liked their actions very muchI can t wait to read Tamsin s story I think, it will be very interestingIt s quite a thing when a bunch of your friends blow off their plans to spend the holiday with you, just because you re having a rough time It s humbling, not to mention an effective way to get you back on the right track ARC generously provided by the author for the exchange of an honest review

Like its preceding installment Rikki, Claire was just as sweet and adorable Again, what I find so appealing with this series is that it s character driven, which is a huge plus factor, since both lead characters, and even the secondary ones, have appealing personalities and both defy stereotypes Case in point Will is a quarterback BUT is not presented as the usual way quarterbacks are written as, which again, I highly appreciated. There s really nothingI can say than what a really really Like its preceding installment Rikki, Claire was just as sweet and adorable Again, what I find so appealing with this series is that it s character driven, which is a huge plus factor, since both lead characters, and even the secondary ones, have appealing personalities and both defy stereotypes Case in point Will is a quarterback BUT is not presented as the usual way quarterbacks are written as, which again, I highly appreciated. There s really nothingI can say than what a really really reaaaally cute read this one was Can t wait for the upcoming installments 5 stars for this oneSomehow in the midst of the kissing we managed to get our clothes off, and then we were touching skin to skin Will was like a human electric blanket I wanted to burrow into forever And yet in the midst of all that warmth my skin prickled with goose bumps
