It was a good read I kind of felt the story was dragging and too long on only one scene Overall the heroine was smart and the hero was an arrogant hotspoil.

historical_romance explicit_sex adventure enemies_to_lovers alpha_hero heroine_you_can_not_hate unexpected_pregnancyThis is the one alluring me into romance books I strongly recommend it for anyone who loves romance with an adventure If you expect balls and dances and secret rendezvous in beautiful England, you ll be disappointed Otherwise, prepare yourself for a mind blowing adventure to a new land Juliet Westover was a lady from nobility whose family was totally a mess For some reason historical_romance explicit_sex adventure enemies_to_lovers alpha_hero heroine_you_can_not_hate unexpected_pregnancyThis is the one alluring me into romance books I strongly recommend it for anyone who loves romance with an adventure If you expect balls and dances and secret rendezvous in beautiful England, you ll be disappointed Otherwise, prepare yourself for a mind blowing adventure to a new land Juliet Westover was a lady from nobility whose family was totally a mess For some reason I want to KILL her father, she was forced aboard a ship captained by Ross Jamieson At first, they hated each otherlike Juliet hated him while he insulted and looked down on her. READ IT, if you want to find out why Sparks never ceased though Now now, I really hate it when a heroine is sexually attracted to a man and does something stupid Fortunately, Juliet was not such type She acted with composure and grace despite the fact that she had nothing but tattered attire and sense of pride She refused to yield to temptation i.e Ross , only compromising when there was no other choice She s smart I tell you She knew where she stood, not daydreaming even after her passionate night s in the arms of handsome Ross Not only was she beautiful, she was also innocent, brave, strong willed and sensitive as hell What a lovely character she was As for Ross, he was handsome, SURE But that s not all about him You must read to the part he attempted to seduce our Juliet Poor Ross who was cajoled into spending a fortune at a boutique store by a local saleswoman HA HA HA He was so confused, on one hand he disdained her again, you must read the book to find out why and the other hand he couldn t help but be attracted to the grace, politeness, knowledge and of course, beauty of Juliet s He was rough sometimes but also tried to treat her with some reluctant respect. You might find Ross disgusting for forcing Juliet into bedding with him but I don t If you were on his shoes you might understand his motive He was a sailor with his own need Actually he gave her two reasonable choices considering the person he figured she was to sleep with him or come back to where she was supposed to be, a disgusting place in any way Personally, I would have given it a frown if the author had tried to make Ross act noble I prefer him this way and I also like how he changed after clearing the mistake about Juliet.Wait for it You won t be able to put the book down once they entered the unexpected land Slaves, concubines, a harem, guess what kingdom it is yet This is where the adventure came to its peak They separated and reunited and escaped and hid themselves and all other juicy stuff AHHHHHHH God bless me Who doesn t like a strong lion hearted heroine caring for and protecting her lover when he needed her the most Who doesn t like hot sex in the jungles Who doesn t sigh in relief when an unexpected old friend came to rescue when he was supposed to be dead o The end is sweet although I might want to change some small details like her father. PLEASE read it everybody Although it was written quite a long time ago, I find it farfascinating than some currently overrated historical romance books The cover here looks not really good to me but luckily I didn t allow it to keep me from enjoying such a beautiful story. Why don t you give it a try
