    This book couldn’t have come at a better time; trying to maintain a low sodium diet can become mind boggling time consuming and restrictive at times This book makes it so easy to enjoy tasteful recipes that are heart healthy The recipes are easy to prepare with ingredients that are readily available today and each recipe includes helpful dietary guidelines The tips hints and suggestions are very helpful and informative and the Dash diet guidelines are displayed in a very easy to understand manner The slow cooker choice not only saves in convenience and cleanup but the long cooking process at lower temperatures allows for a full distribution of flavors in these recipes I found this book helpful for anyone who is seeking to reduce risk factors in their health benefit from weight loss or maintain a healthy diet The Zucchini Mushroom Casserole is absolutely wonderful and the Spinach and uinoa Stuffed Chicken Breasts is our all time favorite This is one book we will use over and over I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review

    This is a terrible cookbook Since I received the cookbook on Friday it is now Wednesday I have made three of the recipes in the book and all have had something wrong with them They have needed additional spicesseasons or adjustments because the end result was too runny etc There is eating healthy and there is eating bland Unfortunately this is about as bland as one can get which is too bad because living alone and working full time I rely heavily on the crock pot for cooking

    This book gives you Dash Diet basics slow cooker basics and lots of recipes that fit in with the Dash Diet Some of the recipes include ingredients I'm not likely to use again like wine Some include ingredients I'd leave out like hot peppers I think it was jalapenos Some recipes just have ingredients I won't eat I recommend you get this from the library first and see how the recipes work for you if there are enough to make it worth your while to buy the book None of the recipes work for me Then if you find the book useful than I did get it off of ebay

    Great bookThere are a lot of great recipes in this book with simple ingredients Great book for people with high blood pressure
