This is weirdly well done I shouldn't even say weirdly Who's to say a sci fi romance about a virgin making her way through an alien jungle with Riddick from Pitch Black can't be good? The plot is pretty straight forward What I found surprisingly impressive here is that at every moment where a mediocre author would have had the heroine make some stupid decision for unclear reasons this author did not You know that thing in many many romances where the alpha male hero tells the heroine Don't go into that room and she is sassy and does anyway and then he has to save her and the whole time you're like AHHHHH WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE SO STUPIDDDDDD? This book basically does not do that If the hero says Don't go into the jungle the giant cats will eat you the heroine generally thinks How terrifying The smart thing to do would be to stay put That's what I'm going to do It's just it's so refreshing I never felt that the heroine was an idiot Which should not be rare but so often is

Explosive sexual excitement demure heroine classic science fiction adventure it's all goodThis book really changed my mind about the uality of erotic fiction on the internet I thought it was all nasty sleazy stuff about evil people doing bad things Read OFFICE SLAVE by JW McKenna for a perfect example of what I mean But PLANET X is different The heroine in this story is so innocent and sweet she could really be Audrey Hepburn if Audrey made movies like BARBARELLA Teague the hero is a classic blue collar bad boy a Kleypas hero in spaceWhat most astonished me was how the sci fi backdrop was actually very earth like The heroine's past in the stuffy private school really reminded me of what women had to endure in the 1950's endless lessons on finding Mr Right and always getting the ring on your finger FIRST It's like MONA LISA SMILE only sexy and with characters you like make that LOVE to see having sex and breaking the rules This book blew my mind it is the best Ellora's Cave fiction I've ever read and it inspired me to try many

Wow what a surprise this book was I had seen a review from a Goodfriend about this book that sounded interesting and ended up starting it directly afterwards So glad I did Krisa is a bride to be bought by an older man when she was 13 but not given to him until after all her training on being a good and submissive wife is done On the way to her fiancee she sees Teague a prisoner being returned to prison after he escaped Their space ship crashes he takes her with him to keep him safe and they end up falling in love but trying hard not to consummate because if she goes to her fiancee as damaged goods it would be very hard on her in a bad way They're betrayed and have to find their way back to each other Great story Would recommend this book

Note This book's rights have reverted to the author If you decide to purchase this book please make sure you are NOT purchasing from Ellora's Cave you ever watched the movies Pitch Black or The Chronicles of Riddick starring Vin Diesel? I want you to close your eyes for a moment Imagine the main character from those movies Think about Riddick's defining characteristics Think about how the movie Pitch Black opens with the meeting of the character RiddickNow add some hair take away the glasses and you've met Teague from Planet X This guy is Riddick all over again He can see in the dark He's known as a scary killer and has a bounty on his head His primary weapon of choice is a knife The book even starts with the MCs meeting on a spaceship with Teague being held in the cargo bay as a criminal on his way to jail The ship crash lands on a hostile planet Any of that sound familiar??I have to admit I have a small crush on Riddick And Vin Diesel I've seen all the movies even Pitch Black and I HATE horror and bugs I've seen The Chronicles of Riddick Director's Cut of course It's the only way to watch several times and I've even seen the anime movie that segues Pitch Black into The Chronicles of Riddick The Chronicles of Riddick Dark FuryTeague reminds me so much of Riddick especially Riddick in The Chronicles of Riddick that I feel that Anderson is lucky she hasn't been slapped with a lawsuit lolSo you have to imagine that I havea slight crush on Teauge I love Teague but the heroine is waaaaaay past annoying She does a lot of smexing Teague up but doesn't follow through The crude but accurate term for her would be cock tease No seriously She really pushes it to that point She gets down to everything with him BUT sex on a rather regular basis throughout the book The book itself has moderate world building but the plot idea was sound and enjoyable The whole Bride Planet idea with the implants was very creepy and I wish that there was some type of follow up for that part of the plot The time that the two characters spend on Planet X was sexy but uite unbelievable I liked the dream seuences that Krisa had but they also made me mad WHY can't she figure out what the reader figures out in a decent amount of time? And I got so sick and tired of Krisa not giving it up to Teague but rubbing herself all over him like a cat in heat that I wanted to reach into the book and slap herThe ending wasmeh I wanted of TeagueThat being said I would have given this book 4 stars for Teague alone if the heroine wasn't such a wishy washy annoying tease

More like Planet XXXThis book has been sitting on my Kindle 4ever and with a super busy week I needed a read that reliably wouldn't use much brainpower Well I got that right I had forgotten how annoying I find Anderson's dumb but well endowed heroines with the innocent and naive schtick Even Anderson's trademark dirty talk erotica didn't resonate; she has written better Planet X did live up to its name though with the uninhibited nativesWhat saves this book is the changing environments crashed ship pastel jungle village life and the imagination that went into crafting the predator soondar and the flora and fauna of Planet X It was weird but interesting Then at 85% in or so the story takes a sinister twist and I wondered how Krisa and Teague would manage to eke out a happily ever afterBook source Purchased

Very good book The first I read from Evangeline Anderson and it gives me the envy to read of her novelsIn this book we can follow the heroin who grow and take another dimension in her behavior The story begin with a kind of little girl and finish with a womanI didn't expected the end happy ending but strange one I cry when I read the last chapter

Krisa Elysion boards the ship that will take her to her husband to be when she sees the dangerous prisoner Kurt Teague who has her intrigued She was sold to her future husband when she was 13 years old and spent years in training to please him Soon she will be wed and a virtual prisoner but she can't help wondering about the prisoner When the ship crashes she sets out with the prisoner to find helpA spicy but entertaining read The spice almost overpowered the story but there was a story that did satisfy

I was a little disappointed in this one Was really hoping to like it better than I did I had a problem feeling a connection between the Hh Teague and Krisa Teague is a convict who was being transported on the same ship that Krisa was on who was heading to her future husband's planet The ship crashlanded on Planet X a jungle planet inhabited by cannibals and very intelligent wildlifeWhile waiting to be rescued they encounter dangerous wildlife and cannibals as they are making their way through the jungle Krisa is trying very hard to keep her virginity intact around Teague but struggles and Overall this wasn't a bad read it was just kinda meh for me SciFi really just doesn't do it for me I guess
