It's uite an angsty love story between two people with soul bonds Jirou is an Alpha Aoi is an Omega Jirou is the heir of his family so he must one day marry an Alpha Aoi was disinherited by his stepmother because he's an Omega and he can't be the heir of the Toujou family Jirou refused to acknowledge the bond and the destiny that forced them together until his heart played a part etc etcAs much as I love these two I always think that soulmate soul bond and the likes in paranormal romance andor omegaverse in general is a bit of a convenience it's cheating XD so anyway I love this but not as much I love the butlers' side between Kudo and Miya x

This is one of the best stories out there for omegaverse Characters are just too good

Aoi his the firstborn to a noble house but because he's an omega not an alpha he can't inherit When both of his parents die different reasons at different times he leaves his step mother to run the house and starts working under his previous butler to learn the trade in the house of the alpha he has a soul bond with Yeah that's definitely going to make it easier to deny destiny and stand on his own instead of just pairing up with his alpha Jirou doesn't initially seem to want anything to do with Aoi either given he's apparently expected to pair with another alpha to strengthen his own family Despite all of their previous claims however the two ultimately can't seem to be apart The art is done beautifully The dynamics are complex and saddening; can't help but feel bad for the characters for different reasons

Typical omegaverse story but the delivery is actually uite good The pacing is uite inconsistent though Jirou the omega's story is too fast while the butlers' story is too long Also the intercourse was really good Hot but not too overwhelming and it complements the story well It doesn't serve only as a basic fillerAnd the art is good but sometimes hard to distinguish characters when the hair color changes in a certain panel to fit a certain mood

OK so I haven't gotten my hands on these volumes yet but I will soon and will review the 4 books individually But for now this is my overall impressionThis was such a good read Not so much the beginning but as the story progresses we get detailed backgrounds of characters that will leave you IN PAIN Our two main protags of this are Aoi and Jirou It's very typical to oneshot yaoi where we just get thrust into the story and have to accept it as it is Basically Aoi has been in love with Jirou since they met oh btw this is omegaverse so they made a soul bond but Jirou has been trying to deny that connection since then Five years later and Aoi is alone except for his butler and is taken in by Jirou's family the Saionji's who see Betas and Omegas as inferior and thus don't take a liking to Aoi or his butler It ends in a very yaoi way lolFrom there the story ends up picking up to the two stars of the series IMO which are Aoi's butler Miyauchi and Jirou's butler Kudou Honestly when it changed the focus to both of these characters I was really sad I just wanted to get to know Aoi and Jirou but after reading this I'm glad it changed As characters I felt Aoi and Jirou were a bit empty They fit your typical characters in yaoi so while it was entertaining it didn't really give much in terms of a story Miyauchi and Jirou's romance though THAT was great Instead of seeing the romance of two soul bonded individuals here we see the romance of two people who want to make their own destiny pick their own partners and what trials they need to get through Every time I learned something new about our characters I was always left with so many feels and crying and I didn't put this down until I finished it all That's how good it was Definitely will be added to my shelves soon

Another omegaverse BL manga shush don't judge me XD that stood out among the masses The art is beautiful the pairings lovely and the plot tries to deal with the negative implications that come with ABO dynamics I've seen stories that deal with it better than this manga does but it's still doing great in my opinion
