This is mostly just a sweet counting book, with pretty animal pictures, but it gets points because it could have been cynical and wasn t When I saw on the first page that bunnies and a fox were playing hide and seek, my brain immediately thought we d be counting backwards, with bunnies disappearing as meals for the fox too much of Mo Willems That is NOT a Good Idea, perhaps Anyway, that did not happy, but we counted the bunnies from 1 to 10 and then there was a non violent surprise endin This is mostly just a sweet counting book, with pretty animal pictures, but it gets points because it could have been cynical and wasn t When I saw on the first page that bunnies and a fox were playing hide and seek, my brain immediately thought we d be counting backwards, with bunnies disappearing as meals for the fox too much of Mo Willems That is NOT a Good Idea, perhaps Anyway, that did not happy, but we counted the bunnies from 1 to 10 and then there was a non violent surprise ending My three year old enjoyed it a lot

This book is adorable Sandall s bunnies put me in mind of Anita Jeram s work I m so smitten that I will forgive her and her English accent for rhyming paw and four .and also using the dreaded heaven seven combination.I wish I had little ones to read this with The book says 4 to 8 but I think it would be terrific for toddlers who are first learning to count.

Delightful book that teaches counting with a rhythmic, rhyming pattern of words, along with a story about bunnies and foxes, normally mortal enemies.Soft, yet vibrant color scheme, with additional details that aid in the counting lesson on pages, e.g snails, carrots, ladybugs, etc.Great for Easter or any time you re doing a bunny storytime.

Liked the illustrations, LOVED the cadence of the rhymes Each and every page has not just one group of items to count, but a couple of groups of items to count I really loved this book as a counting book for little ones.
