Oh, where do I even start My crituqe partner is releasing a book And this book is just incredible It s been so amazing to watch Faith go through the whole process of the book Getting the idea, writing a couple lines down and planning a short story, and then it just took off from there Sometimes, it seemed to take forever for her to finish, and I d tease her about it Yet, looking back, she wrote it in record time I just wasn t the most patient person on the planet But I m supposed to b Oh, where do I even start My crituqe partner is releasing a book And this book is just incredible It s been so amazing to watch Faith go through the whole process of the book Getting the idea, writing a couple lines down and planning a short story, and then it just took off from there Sometimes, it seemed to take forever for her to finish, and I d tease her about it Yet, looking back, she wrote it in record time I just wasn t the most patient person on the planet But I m supposed to be reviewing the book, so here goes The characters were amazing From Char to Drew, and Ry to Hannah they all played a part in the story None of the characters were just there because they had to be They were all vital to the plot Ry and Char s relationship was the sweetest, and I so loved reading all the scenes between them The writing was sweet and simple It fit the story well And it sounded like it was supposed to like an 18 year old girl narrating her story It was perfect Also, have I mentioned that I adore Faith s writing style In some ways it s similar to mine, and it s always such a treat to be able to read any story she writes I think the story line came together well And I was so happy with the ending It wrapped up the story well, yet left room for a sequel And after all the heartache of the book, the epilogue was like a breath of fresh, crisp, sweet mountain air So yes, I love the book I adore it perhaps not as much as Faith s yet to be published historical fiction novel, but almost as much It s beautiful So go read it Kay

starsTo sum up this entire review this was sweet, but not my favorite There were a lot of things that I really enjoyed and some things that I didn t, like every book I feel like I m going to cut this one some slack, however, due to the fact that it was a short novel and there s only so much you can do in those Overall, there is a lot of potential in the book and in the author lovely things faith this was one of the biggest themes in this book an starsTo sum up this entire review this was sweet, but not my favorite There were a lot of things that I really enjoyed and some things that I didn t, like every book I feel like I m going to cut this one some slack, however, due to the fact that it was a short novel and there s only so much you can do in those Overall, there is a lot of potential in the book and in the author lovely things faith this was one of the biggest themes in this book and I really appreciated it The way the author portrayed Christian faith was alright, but I loved how heavy it was throughout this entire novel There were a lot of low points for the characters, and in times like that, it s hard to see where God is in all of it Even though there were times when I felt that the characters weren t very natural, it was very encouraging to see such wonderful examples of Christianity nonetheless family another very prominent theme I really liked how, although her family was very close and she had really healthy relationships with all of them, the family focus was on the Travens They were great, I loved how closely knit they were without lacking the fun bit of sibling teasing It was verrrry relatable I also enjoyed watching Charity grow closer to them as time went on, it made her relationship with Ryder just that much sweeter focus on the little things in life I just saw this quote this morning that read forever is composed of nows Emily Dickinson IT WAS PERFECT FOR THIS BOOK I literally love this theme so much, and I love love love how this book was all about it Life is made up of great little moments that, if they went missing, would leave life limp and hollow The author did an amazing job at revealing this truth in her novel the writing don t get me wrong, this was a well written novel, especially by such a young author claps so much potential But I did have a few problems with some of the scenes where it wasemotionally intense I didn t feel captivated or breathless through those parts, which I would have liked However, overall, Faith is a very talented author and she deserves many chocolates lesser lovely things the characters Okay I m going to blame this on the length of pages in this book But I just didn t care for these characters A lot of them were two dimensional feeling and lacked the emotional impact they should have had in this kind of book It was a little bit disappointing because I knew this was going to be a sad book, but I didn t feel any push pull affect in my emotions It just wasn t there and I know it s because I didn t have any real connection with any of the characters dialogue okay, so I m being a little bit picky XD But here s my deal with the dialoge it just wasn t realistic Sure, all characters have their own special voice and all that However, there is a very distinct tone that just makes spoken words nothing but words in ink Maybe that s just me being picky, but this is one reason why the characters never came alive to me throughout the book ALSO why did Ryder have an accent but nobody else in his family That kind of bugged me lowkey the romance was a ight This was an ehh point for me It was clean and sweet but not something I enjoyed It felt bland at some parts and unreal Due to the novel being so short, I felt like I missed out on a lot of character building and background, which kind of made the romance less enjoyable and unattached feeling c o n c l u s i o n Although this isn t on my favorites list, I still really enjoyed reading Dandelion Dust by Faith Potts This is a Christian romance novel that deals with heavy topics like life, death, and faith through it all It has its ups and downs, but overall this was worth the read Don t just take my word for it, because one opinion isn t everything

Rating 4 stars maybe 4.5 When Faith posted on her blog with a sign up form to beta read her soon to be published, and FIRST, novella, I jumped at the chance partially because Faith is my friend and it was her book ya know And I was delightfully surprised and impressed Faith has a fantastic writing style it flows nicely and doesn t feel stilted The dialogue is real and everyday The plot kept me going The characters grabbed my attention On page one I was already interested and rooting Rating 4 stars maybe 4.5 When Faith posted on her blog with a sign up form to beta read her soon to be published, and FIRST, novella, I jumped at the chance partially because Faith is my friend and it was her book ya know And I was delightfully surprised and impressed Faith has a fantastic writing style it flows nicely and doesn t feel stilted The dialogue is real and everyday The plot kept me going The characters grabbed my attention On page one I was already interested and rooting for the couple Overall I think Faith hit a home run with her debut She s a really good writer, guys.Dandelion Dust is an adorable, sweet tale that will capture your attention and keep you hoping and wondering and wishing It paints a lovely tale of young love and faith in God with wonderful fictional humans I m totally going to reread it as soon as I can get my hands on my own signed ahem copy. The main characters were well rounded and, honestly could be real people They are, right I mean, I could just hop on a plane and go see em Waaaaitno Namely Charity and Ryder and Drew and Hannah all of whom I liked Charity was a great main character very sweet and relatable Which is really cool because it s not often I like the main girls in books Often enough they re annoyingly naive or frustratingly stubborn or whiny but Charity shakes head She wasn t any of those things Her relationship with God but also with Ryder was, again, real I keep using that word but it s true Ryder was charming and goofy and sweet Hannah feels like a bit of a mystery but I think that ll be revealed in the not toooooo distant future And Drew definitely one of my favorites He was the cool older bro who s really sweet and caring and thoughtful There s a story with this guy, Faith raises eyebrows pointedly The romance in this novel was SO well done and cute I was literally sitting there reading, thinking How does Faith write this good The romance was really clean, which was fantastic Charity and Ryder s relationship was well written and realistic and adorable Another thing I liked about Dandelion Dust was the uniqueness of it, but also some of the scenes that were really cool and I didn t feel like I d read them before nods Like the hair cut or shouting match with God both great 33The story itself progressed well and there was most definitely a curveball thrown in that I kind of saw coming but didn t want to have happen It was sorta like Is she gonna do it Is she Is that where this is headed WAHT SHE DID IT NO And then even that all turned out so beautifully, it warms my heart 333Overall, Dandelion Dust is a book I want to reread And have other people read It was well written, realistic, touching, lovely Faith did a fabulous job, and I m totally in for reading the edited version SOON Most definitely recommended.Original words What a sweet story A real, longer review and rating to come I liked it nods Ryder and Charity were perfect together, and the romance was so real and clean and pure and lovely But, can I say A story about Drew Please Pleeeeease Recommended

4.5 starsFor one small moment, Charity s life was perfect until a fraction of a second changed everything When Faith announced the release of her debut novella, I was ecstatic. A modern, Christian romance featuring two young adults With a coffee shop or two, and a dash of four wheeling thrown in SO MUCH YES So when the opportunity arose to review Dandelion Dust, I jumped at the chance and I was not in the least disappointed.

This book doesn t deserve to be described by words like amazing , awesome , and incredible So, I went and looked up some better words and several caught my eye Stunning Breathtaking Extraordinary.I loved this book so much that I couldn t pull myself out of it I read this in one night XD While I continue to catch my thoughts, here is the overview Language as Faith is a Christian writer, there is no bad language featured in Dandelion Dust Romance nothing bad at all there were quite This book doesn t deserve to be described by words like amazing , awesome , and incredible So, I went and looked up some better words and several caught my eye Stunning Breathtaking Extraordinary.I loved this book so much that I couldn t pull myself out of it I read this in one night XD While I continue to catch my thoughts, here is the overview Language as Faith is a Christian writer, there is no bad language featured in Dandelion Dust Romance nothing bad at all there were quite a few cheek kisses, forehead kisses, and holding hands, hugging, etc I absolutely loved how Ry and Gracie kept their relationship chaste Violence no actual violence there was a part in the story where Drew, Ryder s brother, gets angry and raises his voice, but there is no fighting or hurting anyone Blood Gore there was a terrible, terrible accident and Ryder is seriously injured Don t take seriously lightly though Lots of details of the extent of the injuries, and though it wasn t graphic and too much for me, it was a lot If you are very sensitive to reading about terrible injuries and blood, this book isn t for you. What is this masterpiece Since you ve probably read about this lovely story already, I will spare making you read another outline of it XD In short, this story follows a young adult named Gracie who is struggling to cope after Ryder, the boy she loves, is in a horrible accident and falls into a coma What a beautiful story Faith has written Ryder and his brother Drew never ceased to make me laugh, and I just love them so much Poor Ryder has been through e v e r y t h i n g , yet he fought to stay alive What s so good about Dandelion Dust Everything All of the faith content and Bible reading and prayers stood out to me a lot Gracie held on to her faith during the dark weeks after Ryder s accident, and so did his family It was beautiful to see them all come together and pray Gracie and Ryder s relationship was so cool too Nowadays in YA books, you read so many relationships where they rush to get married, are kissing a week into dating XD, etc Well, these two didn t do that The closest they got to kissing was on the cheek, and it was a joy to read about And the ending of the book. let s just say I squealed with happiness I could go on rambling about how good this book was, but I will refrain This book is perfection Anything I didn t like I had to think for a minute, but the only thing that really stuck out to me was the beginning The little preface felt rushed it was a little explanation of how Ryder and Gracie met in her POV , and I think I would have loved to read a short chapter where they meet or something of that nature Overall, this book was stunning I feel H O N O R E D and B L E S S E D to have been able to read it and get to enjoy Gracie and Ryder s love story 100000000000% recommend Dandelion Dustto you Ages 15 for potentially scary scenes of the aftermath of the accident. One last thing FAITH HELLO FAITH Please tell me there is another book coming with my two new favorite characters 3 Great job, girl Such a breathtaking, beautiful story you ve written.PLEASE NOTE I received a complimentary copy of this book from Stellae Books in exchange for an honest review All thoughts are my own and a positive review was not required.Thank you Faith and Stellae Books soli deo gloria
