OK If I ever see the phrase 'vision board' in a book again I will spontaneously eat my own small intestine I want to like this book But there are a lot of 'higher power' references here There is a lot of references to feelings The attention in this book is how to create a 'uniue purpose' This supposedly involves being in love with a soul mate drinking water not doing cocaine there was a lot of talk about cocaine exercising in the morning and not eating fast food All fine The connection between drinking water and being successful in the many manifestations of that word is seriously unclear Not only is this book dodgy it really worries me that vulnerable people are reading this and attempting to reorganize their lives Wow So no

Listened to the audiobook which offers a bit of additional author commentary Maston Kipp claims this is a 40 day process to find purpose in your life Honestly having read or listened to many similar books I have to say this book is not great for its supposed intended purpose It’s much less about developing organization and purpose in your life and much a general “how to be better” It’s largely just a coached journaling method but the basis is highly misguided and based on working through “past trauma” and acknowledging a higher power through which to draw strength and self love to share outwardly with others Maston makes the higher power or creator a major focal point of his lessons which does nothing for the less religious as there are many creator oriented meditations and mantras Maston’s message isn’t necessarily bad it’s just a combination of rehashed ideas designed to be simply digested and built upon each day I lasted about ten days before the sluggish pace of the process and the overbearing integration of a “higher power” that must be recognized in the mediations and journaling became too much I ran through the rest of it in chunks at a time I almost didn’t complete it but decided I had invested enough time to finish it up on my commute I didn’t find it any useful or groundbreaking than other entertaining books on the market It seemed as though it would be a well organized process but there’s so much extraneous detail that it ends to feeling a bit haphazardNot a fan

Claim Your Power A 40 Day Journey to Dissolve the Hidden Blocks That Keeps You Stuck and Finally Thrive in Your Life's Uniue Purpose by Mastin Kipp•You may not control all the events happen to you but you can decide not to be reduced by them Try to be a rainbow in someone else's cloud Do not complain Make every effort to change things you do not like If you cannot make a change change the way you have been thinking You might find a new solution•I knew about this book over a talkshow Impact Theory where the author himself was the guest I enjoy it uite a lot This book is not only self helping but also others helping as it can be used as a guide to coach•Your problems your past your hurt your trauma are not what make you special What make you special is the ability to discover and thrive in your Purpose in spite of all those things•There is nothing wrong with us We are already perfect It's just that through our life journeys we picked a few error patterns that influence our behaviors emotions and beliefs The negative feeling we have about ourselves now is a signal for us to make a change start by cracking ourselves opened layer by layer to the original incident that influenced us in the beginning When we rewrite that patterns and rewire our belief system that's the starting point of us to reclaim our own power the power to accelerate ourselves to greater purposes•Intense Emotion Belief Action Result

Claim Your Power though well written and thought out was not a very exciting read I believe Kipp did a good job hitting all the points in order of how to find your purpose but it was hard for me to stay engaged At the start I was writing along when the book told me to like writing my best feelings worst feelings uncomfortable moments etc By the time I got halfway through I was ready to finish the book I do think this book could be helpful to people who have lost focus on their life and future but a lot of what Kipp wasn't really new to me It was also a lot about Kipp's struggle with drug addiction which I know he uses as inspiration but that is not something I can relate to and in a motivational book I want to relate to everything I am reading Regardless I do think there is some useful information in Kipp's writing I just believe it is a very average self help book

It took me 3 months to finish this book which is a long time for me What I liked goal setting step by step instructions the exercises and journaling There are lots of truths to book like following your feelings and what the Creator wants for you in this lifetime What I didn't like this book is for people who are dead yes he uses this word many times he's a bit dramatic with his words Perhaps he can be Impeccable with his Word This book is aimed at people who are unhappy with their lives I have been working on myself for many years so my life rates at 8 and above for all life categories you can rate them in the book so in this way the book did not speak to me This book is very coachy if you like that His mentor is Tony Robbins who I am not a big fan of Also I tend to dislike ego filled declarations like I have had thousands of clients which he mentions several times in the book Yeah we know Kipp you are famous amazing coach

Does your life feel like your days float by at random like you are not in control of it? Do you feel like your habits and patterns don't change and define you in a way that you are not happy with?I stumbled over the book Claim your Power while watching an very inspiring interview with the author Mastin Kip over at Tom Bilyeu's Youtube channel Impact Theory that is highly recommendable by the way The book helps in a 40 day program to reclaim your personal power heal from small and big traumas of your past and to regain your strength to connect with your emotions heart and soul The message of the book is simply to empower the reader to live purpose driven life with meaning and joy Doing the exercises and answering the soul searching uestions brings the reader on a journey to a new life Highly recommendable
