This is part of a series and continues from the cliffhanger from the previous book The previous book is the only one that is really needed to be read for this one In this one ui Gon is captured by a scientist who want to understand the force thru science and Obi Wan is attempting to rescue himI was really enjoying this book of this series until the final pages Up to those final pages I considered this entry as one of the better ones of this series I like the concept of trying to understand this mysterious aspect of the force thru science And Obi Wan continues to impress as we are getting a nice view of his progression as a padawan That is one of the highlights of this series is seeing Obi Wan becoming and adept All in all I was on board with everything in this book meant for the younger audience Then I read the final pages Just no It did not make sense and I feel these final pages are a result of the author wanting another cliffhanger I have no problem with that but it has to work within the story and it did notThis is a nice series and I am loving the look into Obi Wan as a padawan and it is nice to get of an insight to ui Gon Even though I did not care for the cliffhanger I will continue this series

Continuing the story arc that began in The Deadly Hunter The Evil Experiment is yet another juvenile Star Wars novel that would make enjoyable reading for adults as well I don't want to give away the ending so I'll just say this Make sure you have the next book handy before finishing this one

Sometimes the home you find is the one you are meant to haveObi Wan and Astri race to uncover the mystery of ui Gon's whereabouts after being kidnapped by the brutal bounty hunters Meanwhile ui Gon must fight to stay alive while being the subject of experiments by an evil scientistThis book was a very uick read for me due to its fast pace and intense action scenes Although it was difficult to watch ui Gon suffer so much at the hands of his captor it was refreshing to see Obi Wan take the lead in this book For once he is in charge and handles everything is a surprisingly efficient way It was heartbreaking and beautiful to see how much he cares for his master and how deep the bond is between the two Very glad that this series seems to keep getting better

Story Jude Watson 510Cover Art 710 The cover art really helps you to picture the chamber ui Gon is held in Since he is held there for most of the book it's a helpful visualizationPARENTS GUIDEAge Level 4Violence 310Basic hand to hand combat and non gory fight scenes ui Gon is kept in the chamber and tortured he is stuck with needles and blood is taken out of him It's not too graphically explained but it's still present SexNudity 010Profanity 010

Back on this train because I need inspiration Now we're really getting into the thick of Jenna Zan Arbor's evil plot and I know it's just going to get worse I'm desperate to know who the mysterious second person in her facility is You don't know him but you're close to him I rarely stumble over a plot point I don't already know about through fandom osmosis so I'm excited

ui gon is a scientist's project to discover the Force after being captured by a Bounty hunter Obi Wan tries to find him but is forced to leave him and take a cure to their friend who is slowly dying due to the scientist

This book was pretty good I like the villain I like the bounty Hunter character and I think that the supporting characters are really cool The narrative is also incredibly strong And of course the main characters are as compelling as they always have been My only complaint is I thought that the writing could’ve been better a little bit sometimes But the action seuences read really well done I give this book a solid 383500 stars another enjoyable entry in a very good series

  8. Lisa Lisa says:

I'm starting to get annoyed with these books just because to create any sort of tension the authors have to treat the Jedi as pathetic fools sometimes The ending left something to be desired uiGon Obi Wan and a third competent being couldn't take on one scientist and free the other captive? This made absolutely no sense

  9. David David says:

An evil scientist is imprisoning and torturing Jedi to find the secret behind the Force She taps their emotions monitors their actions and then drains them of their bloodui Gon Jinn is now her captiveObi Wan Kenobi is desperately searching for his Master Meanwhile ui Gon must match wits with one of the most dangerous enemies he has ever encountered

  10. Julie Julie says:

Entry two in a three book story arc I liked this one Lots of ui Gon being ui Gon and a fast paced story around it of Obi Wan and Astri and Tahl trying to figure out the mystery The villain of this tale is particularly nasty
