I love Ray Bradbury He s got the air of a kindly uncle, the type who would sneak you humbugs and bulls eyes, and would let you play in his old fashioned leather and wood grain office if we still lived in a time when unmarried, child free men were considered closet homosexuals and not paedophiles It s possible that I think about Ray Bradbury too much. The Ray Bradbury Chronicles are a series of comic book adaptations of Bradbury s short stories I found this one at a 2 book sale fun fact who I love Ray Bradbury He s got the air of a kindly uncle, the type who would sneak you humbugs and bulls eyes, and would let you play in his old fashioned leather and wood grain office if we still lived in a time when unmarried, child free men were considered closet homosexuals and not paedophiles It s possible that I think about Ray Bradbury too much. The Ray Bradbury Chronicles are a series of comic book adaptations of Bradbury s short stories I found this one at a 2 book sale fun fact whoever donated it stole it from the State Library and was delighted to find that it contained three of my five favourite short stories the awesomely grotesque Aqueduct, the chilling There Will Come Soft Rains, and The Veldt, which could also serve as an advertisement for birth control The other additions were the kinda meh Gotcha, and Homecoming, which was slightly reminiscent of Dandelion Wine. These chronicles would make an excellent introduction to Bradbury s work for younger readers, but they re equally enjoyable for adults.Pro Two versions of There Will Come Soft Rains Con Um now I have to go out and find the other two volumes

I am sorry to say that I really struggled with this book It took me days to get through it I kept wondering if Ray was trippin when he wrote it It is such a strange book Actually a collection of stories from Mars There was some beautiful language like Stars cut from the moonlit sky It was just hard for me to follow because it was so trippy.
