The best character was Algie by far But as for the rest I have thoughtsview spoiler The end was terrible I feel like the engagement to the other girl was completely unnecessary and kind of screwed up I hated that they were treating each other this way I'm not sure why the Military guy didn't out Archer immediately I think impersonating an officer would be a pretty significant offense I didn't like the chemistry between Lenora and Archer to begin with Neither had personality They were one dimensional and outside of period appropriate most of the book I was so not invested in them that I skipped most of the steamy scene near the end because I just didn't care at all hide spoiler

Rilettura a distanza di anni durante la uale l’interesse per la trama cala fin troppo Molto semplice storia già letta ma uello che più mi ha fatto interrompere è la lentezza di Deborah Gli eventi scorrono così lentamente da annoiarmi Peccato

A decent read however very predictable Had the makings of an excelent book if time had been spent on the relationship than working to create a love triangle thats doesnt exist

This wasn't a bad book but read on the heels of The Proposition it just doesn't compare

Different to alot of books I've read but in a good way A lot of mystery and fun in the story and such great characters with charisma that stood out between them
