45 stars Review completed August 28 2014Meet His Jedness wipes drool It's a private emergency? His low raspy voice made the uestion sound even intimate Is this private enough? He wasn't standing too close but something about him made Helen feel as if every male inch of him was pressed against her She almost leaned closer to see whether she was imagining the heat emanating from his body but resisted the temptation just in time Lucky she didn't break your nose Puffy eyes man It's a major pain to sight a target from an angleHe could always stand sideways and look out of his good eyeHelen felt a flash of guilt until she remembered why she'd hit him Helen is Hell on wheels and kicks some serious ass Poor Jed snicker One minute his voice was silky smooth his breath teasing her ears Didn't you say five minutes wouldn't be enough? No she protested knowing instinctively what he was going to do She pulled at his shirt fiercely Damn youI know you're him Justtell meI thought I've been showing you he mocked Thirty seconds I don't think your'e going to make it Uh uh uh no wordsyou're going to waste these last twenty seconds And one I guess I'll just have to show you later WARNINGFirst things first Readers who're considering giving this series a try should be aware of the following1The first book Virtually His is not a romance There's a lot of techy stuff going on in the first installment probably somewhat similar to sci fi I believe Gennita's books are labeled as tech spy fi not without good reason Helen Roston Elena Hell and Jed McNeil Hades during RV mode hardly interact with each other face to face in Virtually His That's where all begins the experiment of synchronizing brainwaves for deep immersive virtual reality The goal was to train the GEM operative Helen Hell Roston as a remote viewer an agent trained to spy remote targets with the mind Thus Jed is Helen's monitor and trainer and they are connected through virtual reality Meaning even the smexy bits happen when Helen is remote viewing RV in the first installment Fact is Helen doesn't know the identity of her trainer until at the very end of book #1 But once she's aware of his identity the fun truly begins in all its shiny glory in book #2 Virtually Hers2Virtually Hers ends with a I want to bite my nails off it's so damn good cliffhanger Wait what did I just say? I mean I wanted to scream my head off because the author left me hanging like that Fck Yep it's the kind of cliffhanger that makes you damn antsy to read the seuel stat The third installment is not out yet and it's been years already Unfortunately I have no idea when Gennita Low is going to publish Virtually One Gimme gimme NOW grabby handsWhile Virtually His was all about the creation and training of the supersolider spy the seuel is about the take off of Jed and Helen's relationship They face each other in the real world and trust me the sparks are flyingJed is Number Nine in the Covert Subversive COS commando unit The one who has to finish each mission; that means he's familiar with death because that's the way a mission ends Number Nine has the capability to take care of all operations effectively He's also an excellent leader and an expert at seduction of mind and body and a master manipulator when it comes to playing mind games Jed McNeil is Helen's monitor in the Super Soldier Spy program He's trained to hold all his feelings emotions and thoughts close to the vest yet he's than a bit startled at how much Helen affects him Thus Jed is very reluctant to talk about his background and past which is very interesting by the way but he loves fiercely and protects those who are close to his heart Some of his traits and skills are remarkable and have been mentioned in Virtually Hers but I won't go into details here because it's fun to discover them yourself Helen is a GEM operative trained in NOPAIN non persuasive and innovative interrogation a special GEM techniue in information gathering The bold and sassy Elena is a fantastic heroine who kicks some serious ass and I loved her uirky and funny side She's a smartass for sure unapologetically candid with a great sense of humor The aloof and stone faced Jed who's as solid as a rock and used to suppress his emotions did care very much about Helen She means the world to him and he was in full on protector mode in Virtually Hers than ever His mesmerizing voice and seductive hands did me in well among other interesting assets of course Love me some Jed He's such a complex intriguing and mysterious man and there are a couple layers of him that I have yet to discover I blame Gennita because she left me groping in the dark for a long time You're a tease But I get it you need to keep your readers on their toes I really really want to see them developing their relationship in Virtually One going deeper still Jed is a very well educated man and I'd like to see of his introverted personality and I want him to share some downtime with Elena which leads me to my next thoughtFrankly I don't believe that Helen view spoilerwill die; she's going to wake up again hide spoiler

I just randomly came across Gennita Low's Virtually His which is the first book in the series and loved it This book I liked even It was fast paced and kept me on my toes We finally get to see who her trainer is and I have to say I had my guess in the last book and was happy to see I was right Jed and Helen have chemistry that jumps off the page and their kinky romps in the VR room and their shared dreams are amazing Each encounter is different and I loved watching Jed struggle with his feelings for Helen Jed is such a uniue character cold and detatched and to see how Helen affects him gave him a vulnerable uality I will have to say that my brain had to work very hard reading this book there is a lot of information to take in and a lot of terms that just flew right over my head I had to go back in a few places and re read a paragraph just to make sure I was understanding everything correctly It's a different take on a romantic suspense and I was so invested in these two characters and their outcome Left me with a huge cliffhanger at the end and I am dying for Virtually one to come out and am hoping it's soon I have never read a book with these kinds of twists and I hope people will check these books out and hope they will love it as much as I do

The first chapter is a uick recap from all that happen in Book 1 Virtually His right until Helen gasps at her computer and found out who is her mysterious handler Okay is Jed McNeil I never would have guess is him because he appeared uite late in book 1 No he was there from the beginning but often referred as 'the man' Now Helen finally found out who is this guy who kept seducing her in the virtual reality and she wanted to confront him and make him admit it on her face Is interesting to see how things panned out for them because he is been keeping the secret for so longThe plot about Agent 51 is again beyond confusing from Book 1 and I already gave up reading about it I speed through it and just read what happen between Helen and Jed There isn't any declaration of love obviously They are just two people being attracted to each other The story ended in the cliffhanger but since I'm not that invested in the story is okay that the next book is still haven't out after so many years

First of all a big fat THANK YOU to Samhain Publishing for picking up Gennita Low's contract on these books You're not going to regret it because she rocksI thoroughly enjoyed this second foray into the secret world of remote viewing The plot was well drawnThe commandos of COMCEN are great fun and it was terrific to see them all again But the centerpiece of course was the growing relationship between Hell and Hades Click here for full review

I read the first book in the series years ago and loved it I desperately waited for the second book but by the time it came out I was only mildly interested in th story I'm thoroughly annoyed that the book ends on a cliffhanger and there is no information about when the third book will be written

I really love this romance novel it's my new favorite romance novel I don't normally like to read series but this one was aight However my biggest disappointment was when Hell didn't do anything to protect herself against the intruder in her room I hope she comes out of her coma that she is in
