I'm actually not uite done with this yet but pretty close I have been reading one section per week for almost a year What I really like about this particular devotional is that unlike so many other single mom books it really does focus on a true single mom's perspective Not I was a single mom for a minute before I married my current husband Some entries resonate with me than others but overall a solid book

I have read many books on the topic of broken relationships and this is one of the most helpful Forgiveness reconciliation and restoration are stand alone pieces of the healing process Forgiveness lets go of ill will toward another for a wrong suffered; reconciliation negotiates an acceptable way to reestablish the relationship; restoration repairs and rebuilds the relationship as it was originally intended to be When we practice forgiveness and initiate reconciliation we live out the love and grace God has shown us Restoration however hinges on the lived out repentance of the other person and reuires that healthy relationship boundaries are clearly established understood and observed
