Shows you how to draw a bird's eye city view just like the view from the glass floor at Chicago's Willis Tower My linear orderly son who doesn't consider himself to be creative is enjoying using this book for our Friday free draw lessons The Billions of Blocks exercise on p 64 is wonderful example of how to draw a bird's eye view of skyscrapers and city streets We used graph paper to help with shapes and lines and my son used a ruler to extend his building edges to the dot in the middle of the intersection he was very pleased with his result and gained a lot of confidence Recommend highly for children ready to follow instructions independently to learn how to draw

Picked this up after finishing Mark's You can draw in 30 days Is a great continuation of the 30 day book giving plenty of stepped exercises to continue practicing Not a book for complete beginners as only uickly goes over some of the fundamentals and I found some of the steps to be to big from picture to picture
